Central Vacuum Systems
Central Vacuum Systems

When indoor air quality and health are discussed, very few people would think about central vacuum systems in that context. In fact, very few would be aware that central vacuum systems play a major part in the reduction of house dust mites and hence provides a cleaner and healthier environment for the family.

Traditional vacuum cleaners have a motor and every motor has an exhaust system, so no matter how efficient the cleaner, particles will still be distributed around the dwelling.

Unlike the traditional vacuum cleaners, a Vent-Axia MultiVac Central Vacuum system really does remove dirt, dust, dust mites, pollens and other allergens from your living room.

A unit mounted in a cupboard, garage or even under a sink (with or without bags) is connected to a 50mm plastic pipe that runs to various points around the house, terminating at a wall inlets. These covered inlets at low level are similar in size to a standard light switch and once these and the unit are installed the system is ready to use. Once a special vacuum hose is inserted into the outlets it automatically switches the unit on and vacuuming can begin.

Multivac Central Vacuum system

Depending on where you wish the unit to be mounted dictates the type of system required. If the unit is to be mounted within the property, a version with a integral bag is recommended. However, if the unit is to be mounted in a garage, then a cyclonic version is recommended.

A cyclonic system requires no bags and no filters; turbines inside the unit spin when the motor is activated, seperating the dust and dirt particles from the air stream. These particles are the broken down by the cyclonic action and collected in the reservoir at the base of the unit.

The Vent-Axia MultiVac central vacuum system can in some cases last up to 12 months before the bag or reservoir needs changing or emptying, and with a 9m hose, vacuuming can be simply and effortlessly achieved in every corner of your house.

Some major benefits:

Cleaner and healthier home
More powerful than normal vacuum cleaners
Dirt, dust mites, allergens and other particles effectively removed
Easy to use - no carrying heavy equipment, no electrical cables to plug in and unplug. No more damage to furniture and woodwork.
